The SPA for the cable confirms the requirements of the Construction Products Regulation (EU CPR 305/11) and is designed to limit the generation and spread of fire and smoke.
Shielded cables are used for data transmission in electrical engineering and computers, for signaling, measurement, command and control systems, and in general, where effective protection from external electromagnetic interference and small size protection is required.
The cable can always be installed in coexistence with a 450/750V energy cable, in addition, it can also be installed in coexistence with a 0/1kV energy cable if used to power a Class 0 system (nominal voltage less than or equal to 50V, if AC, or 120V, if DC or non-corrugated), to provide a positive rated voltage of 300/400V for the load.
